Welcome Message

NEWS:
The IEEE HPCC-2020 Conference was planned to be held in Fiji, December 14-16, 2020. Given the COVID-19 pandemic and associated travel restrictions, as the safety of people is of the highest priority, the conference will be held virtually on December 14-16, 2020. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore Digital Library after they are presented at the virtual conference. Information and instructions on how to prepare for a virtual presentation has been sent to every author already. Registration fees for the conference will be adjusted.

With the rapid growth in computing and communications technology, the past decade has witnessed a proliferation of powerful parallel and distributed systems and an ever increasing demand for practice of high performance computing and communications (HPCC). HPCC has moved into the mainstream of computing and has become a key technology in determining future research and development activities in many academic and industrial branches, especially when the solution of large and complex problems must cope with very tight timing schedules.

Among a series of highly successful International Conferences on High Performance Computing and Communications (HPCC), the HPCC-2020 conference is the 22nd edition of a forum for engineers and scientists in academia, industry, and government to address the resulting profound challenges and to present and discuss their new ideas, research results, applications and experience on all aspects of high performance computing and communications. IEEE HPCC-2020 is sponsored by IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, and IEEE Technical Committee on Scalable Computing (TCSC).

The 2020 High Performance Computing and Communications (HPCC-2020) will provide a high-profile, leading-edge forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to present state-of-art advances and innovations in theoretical foundations, systems, infrastructure, tools, testbeds, and applications for the HPCC, as well as to identify emerging research topics and define the future.

HPCC-2020 will be hosted in Fiji. Fiji is a tropical island nation located in Oceania in the South Pacific Ocean and comprises an archipelago of more than 332 islands, 110 of which are permanently inhabited. Fiji is located about two-thirds of the way from Hawaii to New Zealand, and immediate neighbors include Vanuatu, Tonga, and Samoa. It is a world-renowned resort that attracts many people to visit each year.

Prospective authors are invited to submit their papers to HPCC-2020. All accepted papers are expected to be included in IEEE Xplore and will be indexed by Engineering Index (EI). The authors of selected best papers will be invited post conference to extend their contributions for special issues of prestigious journals to be planned in conjunction with the conference.

Paper Submission Guideline

All papers need to be submitted electronically through the conference submission website http://edas.info/N27662 with PDF format. The materials presented in the papers should not be published or under submission elsewhere. Each paper is limited to 8 pages (or 10 pages with over length charge) including figures and references using IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscripts style (two columns, single-spaced, 10 fonts). You can confirm the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Author Guidelines at the following web page:
http://www.computer.org/web/cs-cps/

Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings can be found at:
https://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html

Once accepted, the paper will be included into the IEEE conference proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society Press (indexed by EI). At least one of the authors of any accepted paper is requested to register the paper at the conference.
