Welcome Message

NEWS:
Due to local covid pandemic policy change,we have to move the conference date from December 17-19 until the December 20-22.

Since the conferences are still 1.5 months away, we are watching closely the pandemic situation changes, we are still preparing for the physical attendance for those Chinese authors. This is why we require all authors to do so. If there is any hindrance to actual attendance, we will make corresponding adjustments in due course.

Green computing, in the context of cloud and pervasive computing, is an emerging research field in computer science and engineering. Pervasive computing and cloud computing are two promising paradigms that have been seeing exponential growth in the deployments and which, poised to take major roles in human's daily life. But in order to realize this potential, both will have to face the critical challenges related to energy consumption, for example, controlling the energy spent by the large-scale cloud data centers and prolonging the battery life of mobile devices in pervasive computing and Internet of Things (IoT). New concepts and technologies such as mobile cloud computing (MCC), software-defined networking (SDN), Edge/Fog and hybrid cloud services can be leveraged to make cloud data centers and pervasive wireless devices more energy efficient. They aid us shape a "green" world in the future.

The 16th International Conference on Green, Pervasive, and Cloud Computing (GPC 2021) is the next event in a series of highly successful events focusing on pervasive and environmentally sustainable computing. The main conference of GPC 2021 will be held on 17th-19th December 2021 at Haikou, China, and will provide a high-profile, leading-edge forum for scientists, engineers and researchers to discuss and exchange novel ideas, results, experiences and work-in-process around the Green, Pervasive, and Cloud Computing.

GPC-2021 will be hosted in Haikou. Haikou is the capital city of Hainan Province which locates in southernmost part of China with the land area of 2284.49 square kilometers and the sea area of 861.44 square kilometers. Haikou is a tropical island city and comprises Hainan Island(part), Haidian island and Xinbu island. Haikou has a comfortable climate and first-class ecological environment, thus it is a world-renowned resort that attracts many people to visit each year.

Paper Submission Guidelines

The materials presented in the papers should not be published or under submission elsewhere. Each paper is limited to 8 pages (or 10 pages with over length charge) including figures and references using IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscripts style. Papers are to be submitted as PDF via the site:https://edas.info/N28865. Papers will be selected based on their originality, timeliness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Submission of a paper should be regarded as a commitment that, should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register and attend the conference to present the work.

Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings can be found at:
https://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html

Once accepted, the paper will be included into the IEEE conference proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society Press (indexed by EI). At least one of the authors of any accepted paper is requested to register the paper at the conference.
